Greater China and the Philippines Join the Arbitrum Ambassador Program Expansion
The Arbitrum Ambassador Program took a significant leap forward in Q1 2025 by expanding to new regions. The Arbitrum Foundation is now thrilled to announce the expansion to two more regions: Greater China and the Philippines. This expansion brings the Ambassador Program to a total of seven active countries, including India, Nigeria, Mexico, Korea, and Brazil.
The expansion into Greater China — covering mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan — marks a major milestone for the Arbitrum ecosystem. This region is home to one of the world’s most vibrant and innovative Web3 communities. By introducing the Ambassador Program here, the Arbitrum Foundation aims to harness the talent and enthusiasm of local Web3 enthusiasts, enabling them to contribute to content creation and educational activities in Mandarin Chinese.
As part of the outreach efforts in Greater China, the Arbitrum Foundation will collaborate with HackQuest, a leading developer-focused educational platform in the region. Together, they will train and empower a new cohort of ambassadors and undertake university outreach programs to inspire and engage the next generation of Web3 talent across campuses.
The Ambassador Program is an Arbitrum Foundation initiative to build a grassroots community in the ecosystem. The program empowers ambassadors to represent Arbitrum locally, educating users and developers while strengthening the global Web3 network. Through educational initiatives, advocacy, and content creation, ambassadors play a pivotal role in propelling the ecosystem to new heights.
Since August 2024, ambassadors have submitted roughly 14,750 pieces of content, both technical and non-technical, via X (formerly Twitter) that earned 187 million overall reach for the Arbitrum ecosystem.
